Wow wow wow what another great year for shoeboxes! This year as a school we filled 150 boxes woop woop! Today they began their journey along with all the other boxes from shoeburyness as they headed out from the Baptist church on their way to the warehouse at Chelsmford, where they will be sorted, packed and sent to bring a smile to some very special children. It wasn't just the high school that took part the local junior schools and churches got involved too and together we filled over 650 boxes! THis year though 12 of you got to take part in one very special trip to the warehouse to see all the hard work that is done in order to send the boxes off safely. It was a very special day and was so awesome to see soooooo many boxes. The students involved also got to get stuck in and play an important part in getting the boxes sent off, we even got to shake hands with the mayor woo hoo! Life in Abundance would just like to say a very huge thanks and well done to all that got involved and filled a box. And we couldn't end without saying well done Humanities, you were this years winning department with 19 boxes filled!
